ফুটবল হলো এমন একটা খেলা যেখানে একটা বল কে লাথি মেরে দুটি দলের খেলোয়াড়রা খেলে। যখন ফুটবলটাকে লাথি মেরে জালের ভেতর ঢোকানো হয়, তখন যে দলের খেলোয়াড়ের লাথিতে বল জালে জড়ায় সেই দল একটি পয়েন্ট জেতে।
