A leaf is usually green and flat and grows from the stem of a branch on a tree. Leaves give the plant or tree food and air to make them healthy. In fall, leaves change colors and fall from the trees.

A rake is a tool with a long handle and long spikes at the bottom that is used to gather things on the ground. We use a rake to clean up leaves in the fall.
