শীতনিদ্রা হল শীতের সময়ে গর্তে বা গুহায় ঘুমিয়ে থেকে শক্তি বাঁচানো। ভালুক,ব্যাঙ, ভোঁদর এবং গুবরে পোকা এমন কিছু প্রাণি যারা শীতের সময়ে শীতযাপন করে থাকে।
