Delaware Earthquake

The seismograph on the Temple Ambler campus picked up today’s Delaware earthquake.

Details about the earthquake can be found on the USGS geohazards website.  It was not a particularly large quake, but older, cooler lithosphere on the east coast transmits seismic energy more efficiently than on the west coast, so this one was felt as far away as New York. Disappointingly, I didn’t feel a thing.
