I presented a talk and helped to moderate a session on “Corporate and Academic Social Responsibility: Engagement or Estrangement?” at the annual meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists at Las Vegas on November 5th.

This topic was of particular interest given the growing success of Geoscientists Without Borders (http://www.seg.org/web/foundation/programs/geoscientists-without-borders) which recently met a milestone with the raising of a million dollar endowment!
