Tornado hits Temple Ambler Campus: weather station survives

The Temple Ambler Campus was hit by an EF2 tornado (est 130 mph winds).  The tornado blew the roof off several buildings on campus and devastated an old growth forest that was part of the campus field station (see drone photos I took after the storm).  Strangely, my weather station on the edge of campus survived and recorded data during the storm. The barometric pressure plummeted 20 mbars for just a 15 minute record and the wind picked up to 60 mph, then things went back to normal (graph).  A lot of devastation in a very short time!
