Masters student Liz Cushman conducted a LiDAR survey of her field site at Roychester park with the help of Dr Jon Nyquist. She recently completed flow routing analysis (right figure above) so she can map where stormwater flows down from the parking lot to the stream in the park (left photo above). She placed stormwater sampling bottles along these flow paths to compare variations in stormwater runoff from different sections of the surrounding neighborhood. We’ve had plenty of rain to provide data for her study!
