nd and I visited Birmingham Cave spring and others from the Shuster and White study to get samples for rare earth elements (REE), a new tracer we are exploring. We also downloaded data from our temperature loggers for a talk that Jim gave the next day at the PA Groundwater Symposium on May 4. Jim gave a talk on contrasting karst classification using high frequency temperature monitoring versus the more traditional coefficients of variation from low frequency monitoring.
