TUARC is as a Laboratory of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and demonstrates the analog and digital modulation techniques in use. TUARC has an HP 8558B 100 kHz to 1.5 GHz spectrum analyzer and an ICOM R7000 25 MHz to 2 GHz receiver which share a Diamond D3000N 25 MHz to 3 GHz wideband discone antenna. The radio frequency (RF) spectrum in the United States is regulated by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
