Sujith Ravi is a broadly trained environmental scientist interested in understanding the impacts of disturbances (natural and anthropogenic) on ecohydrological processes in terrestrial ecosystems, in the context of ecosystem degradation. Sujith Ravi received his PhD from the University of Virginia. Upon graduating, Dr. Ravi worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University and University of Arizona. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Hydrology at Temple University in 2014, and promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2019. Dr. Ravi is also the Director of the interdisciplinary Environmental Science Program at Temple University.  Dr. Ravi is the recipient of the US National Science Foundation CAREER award, the American Geophysical Union Editors Citation for Excellence in Refereeing, Distinguished Faculty Award for mentoring from Temple University, and Award for Excellence in Scholarship in the Sciences & Engineering from the University of Virginia.
