Susan Murray received a B.S. in psychology from Fordham University in 2012. After graduation, Susan joined Dr. Nicole Avena’s laboratory studying the neural correlates of under- and overeating, obesity, and addictive-like patterns of food consumption. Her academic interests include the study of eating disorders, neuroscience, and coping mechanisms. She has published numerous articles in scholarly journals such as Nature Reviews Endocrinology and multiple book chapters in textbooks including the The Wiley Handbook of Eating Disorders. She is currently on internship at University of California, San Diego.
