Visit to Bucks County Community College

I met with faculty and students at Bucks County Community College in their new science building this month.  The students had a lot of questions about the job market and I explained some programs in our department at Temple University (such as the EES Connection job web site and HAZWOPER training) plus research opportunities for undergraduates to help them prepare for their next step.  I hope to see some of these students in future EES classes and plan to keep in touch with the faculty that I met.  They have a great location and resources for launching students in environmental science careers!
