Black Kids Hack is a pilot program intended for youth residing in the DC Metro Area and aims to provide an introduction to the concepts and practices of ethical hacking and cybersecurity fundamentals. The Black Kids Hack program is a 14-week summer program that provides youth with a customized ethical hacking curriculum based upon a trusted cybersecurity curriculum. The established curriculum includes Linux, cybersecurity, cryptography, malware, and seven other cybersecurity-related units. In addition to the 11 core modules, in addition, the students will have three additional units including Ethical Hacking, Cybersecurity Domains, and Capture the Flag, making the program 14 modules. |
