Yufan He

Yufan is from Ruichang city in Jiangxi province, P.R China. He received his Ph. D. from State Key Laboratory of Electro-analytical Chemistry, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun. His Ph. D. advisor was Prof Erkang Wang.

Yufan’s past research focused on the dynamics of molecular processes at redox reaction and molecular diffusion by combining potential pulse perturbation and STM. He is also interested in single-molecule conductivity and single-molecule spectroscopy.

Yufan used single-molecule spectroscopy to study the conformational dynamics of protein and enzyme in the processes of biological function. He also used single-molecule spectroscopy to study the processes of interfacial electron transfer.

He is currently a research scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Center for Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University. In addition to other studies, Yufan studies the dynamics of energy transfer, electron transfer at solid/liquid interface by using scanning probe microscopy and single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
