Coblentz Student Awards in Vibrational Spectroscopy
The Coblentz Society has for many years encouraged young scientists to pursue studies in spectroscopy by seeking nominations of outstanding students for the Coblentz Student Awards.

EAS Awards
The Eastern Analytical Symposium offers a research award to undergraduate students who will be seniors in the term in which the next exhibit takes place. Guidelines to Apply.

Graduate students working on novel analytical methods or new applications for analytical techniques can be nominated to be recognized at the EAS with an all expense paid trip, a plaque, and a presentation of their poster. ECS Honors and Awards
ECS recognizes outstanding technical achievements in electrochemistry and solid-state science and technology. Student Awards, Summer Fellowships, and Travel Grants are offered for students.

IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Student Fellowship Program
The IEEE Photonics Society established the Graduate Student Fellowship Program to provide Graduate Fellowships to outstanding Society student members pursuing graduate education within the Society’s areas of interest (electro-optics, lasers, photonics, optics, or closely related fields).

IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists
The IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists has been established to encourage outstanding young research scientists at the beginning of their careers

Murray Green Memorial Prize in Physics
The Murray Green Memorial Prize in Physics was established in 1995 by Murray Green, CST ’57, the Green Prize is awarded to an outstanding graduating student majoring physics.

National Physical Science Consortium
NPSC’s goal is to increase the number of American citizens with graduate degrees in the physical sciences and relating engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool including women and minorities. The NPSC Graduate Fellowship is offered to all American citizens and can be applied for online.

National Honor Society for Women in Chemistry (Iota Sigma Pi)
IOTA SIGMA PI serves to promote the advancement of women in chemistry by granting recognition to women who have demonstrated superior scholastic achievement and high professional competence through awards for women in science.

OSA Grants, Awards, and Honors
OSA and the OSA Foundation offer grants and financial support for several education, research and technical programs. OCS also recognizes and honor the innovations and dedication of these leaders in the field. The foundation offers Awards, Grants, Scholarships and Fellowships for all members.
