I was born in Ukraine. I received my M.Sc. in Nanoscience from the University of Groningen, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. I am now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Borguet group.
My research is primarily focused on the development of ultrabroadband infrared sources and their application in sum frequency generation spectroscopy of surfaces, interfaces, and 2D materials. Research on 2D materials is performed in collaboration with research groups of Energy Frontier Research Center for Computational Design of Functional Layered Materials.
