Fall 2011:
Molecular Spectroscopy (Chem 8301)
Absorption, emission and scattering of light by molecular system. Discussion of basic principles and experimental techniques.

Spring 2011
Physical Chemistry I (Chem 3301)
This course provides the foundation essential for most higher-level work in chemistry. Topics covered include thermodynamics, phase equilibria, chemical equilibria, kinetic theory of gases, chemical kinetics, and equilibrium electrochemistry.

Fall 2010
Physical Chemistry II (Chem 3302)
An introduction to quantum mechanics and spectroscopy.

Fall 2009
Physical Chemistry II (Chem 3302)
An introduction to quantum mechanics and spectroscopy.

Spring 2009
Honors General Chemistry II (Chem 1952)
The second semester of chemistry for science majors, pre-professional students, and others in science related fields. Similar to Chemistry 1032 (C072) but with added emphasis on topics of current interest to the professional chemist. An introduction to thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, electrochemistry, and descriptive chemistry.

Fall 2008
Honors General Chemistry I (Chem 1951)
When taken with Chem 1953 (H093), this course meets pre-professional requirements. Similar to Chem 1031 (C071) but with added emphasis on topics of current interest to the professional chemist. A quantitative introduction to atomic and molecular structure, states of matter, basic thermodynamics, and solutions.
