Olivier Katz

Olivier Katz

I’m a 26 year old student in my first year of the Chemistry Master’s program at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, in Paris, France. The program follows a three-year, non-specialized “License” in physics and chemistry which I obtained at Université de la Nouvelle-Caledonie, a small Island in the Pacific. I decided to move to Paris to specialize in materials chemistry.

I participated in an Internship Program at Temple University for 5 months doing research with the Borguet Group. My research interests included surface chemistry and nano-technology.

In fall 2011, previous Member Olivier Katz awarded a prize for the precision of the work in his presentation at the UPMC Forum 2011. He earned a free entrance to the Academia Europaea at UNESCO in Paris.
