Minorities and Philosophy: Minorities and Philosophy is an organization of students and faculty who are committed to examining and addressing issues of minority participation in academic philosophy. The Temple University chapter, which will be run by 5 Board members, seeks to host a number of student-run events and programs that intend to build community and to provide support for minorities in philosophy. Some of these activities include–but are not limited to–reading groups, mentorship programs, and film screenings. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate. If you have any questions, or if you are interested in becoming an active member of MAP, please email Meryl Lumba (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
