Outreach activities consist of student-driven events that highlight awareness about the importance of diversity in neuroscience, fosters inclusion and representation in academic spaces, as well as increasing knowledge about neuroscience to the lay public. Current projects consist of activities like generating (1) a Tik-Tok event highlighting a day in the life of minority scientists, (2) a podcast discussing new research, and (3) a Buzzfeed style, neuroscience inspired romance quiz.
