We Love Philly students engaged in a social engineering penetration testing exercise, under the premise that they were hired by the CARE Lab. This experience exposed students to the social engineering fundamentals of OSINT, pretexting, personas, phishing, and vishing. They delivered a client presentation where they identified vulnerabilities and made security recommendations to help the lab improve its cybersecurity posture.
