Rachel Maddaluna has received honorable mention in Temple campus-wide competition for the Library Sustainability Prize, an annual award that recognizes outstanding achievement in research on sustainability. Rachel’s award-winning paper, “Mitigation of Climate Change and Species Loss through Avoided Deforestation” was recognized at a well-attended awards ceremony on May 1, 2012. The ceremony attracted the university provost, several deans, numerous faculty, many students, and a range of family members and others supportive of undergraduate research at the university. Congratulations to Rachel!
