Dr. Yang Yang was recently invited to participate in a special Editors’ Session hosted by the International Association for Tourism Economics (IATE). Dr. Yang joined Prof. Gang Li, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Tourism Research, to share reflections drawn from their editorial experiences. As Senior Editor of Tourism Management, Dr. Yang discussed emerging trends in tourism analytics, the importance of methodological rigor and transparency, and the growing integration of applied economics, data science, and management research within leading journals.
