| Last Spring, Temple Honors put together a Climate Survey to assess our demographics and needs of our students in order to create a more equitable experience for the entire Honors community. Thanks to those initial responses, we’ve updated the survey for this year! And we need your help! Your responses will help us with our short-term and long-term goals of writing our Statement of Inclusion, assessing the impact of our programming and events, and helping to shape our curriculum and faculty training for Honors courses among other initiatives. |

| A bit of background/context for this Climate Survey: ✨ The creation of this survey was inspired from a Racial Equity Coaching Grant (with support from from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) that Temple Honors applied for in Spring 2023. We were one of 22 institutions/programs selected (out of over 300 applicants!) from across the U.S. through the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center’s Equity Coaching Academy! ✨ Our staff was paired with a Racial Equity Coach, Dr. Collin Williams who worked with us last Summer 2023 in providing various trainings on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We are committed to upholding DEI in Honors by working to foster a sense of belonging for a more inclusive community! |
