Photo Release

Submission of your conference registration authorizes Temple University to publish in any format and use for promotional and educational purposes your name and any photos, videos, and audio recordings taken of you at the conference. It also authorizes Temple University to contact you by mail and email.

Payments

Temple University only accepts credit cards as payments. No refunds will be given for conference registrations and CEU fees. If Temple University is forced to cancel the in-person conference, the conference will be held entirely on our virtual platform. No amount will be refunded or credited.

Questions

Please contact us at rtprogram@temple.edu if you have questions.

How do I access the virtual conference?

To access the virtual conference, go to canvas.temple.edu on your computer. Enter your username and password. This will take you to the Canvas Dashboard where you can select (click on) the conference. Once you enter the conference, you will see a welcome message that explains how to navigate the conference. It is recommended you use the Google Chrome browser on your computer.

Where do I get my username and password for the virtual conference?

Check your email inbox of the email account you used when you registered for the conference. You should have received an email from Temple University with a link to activate your account and set-up your username and password. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam folder. If you don’t see it, contact us a rtprogram@temple.edu for assistance.

Are the virtual conference sessions scheduled for specific days and times?

All of the sessions are prerecorded. You can listen to the sessions whenever you like during conference. The conference opens at 12:01 am Eastern Time on the first day of the conference and ends at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on the last day of the conference.

Do I have to watch each pre-recorded session in its entirety in one sitting?

No. You can pause and un-pause a recording as needed.

Will we be able to interact with other conference attendees during the virtual conference?

Yes! We have a “Say Hello” discussion board where you can interact with other conference attendees, as well as with the Temple University RT faculty. There is also a forum for attendees to post fieldwork/internship opportunities.

What do I have to do to earn CEUs during the virtual conference?

Those interested in earning CEUs must have paid for them when registering for the conference. If you are not sure if you paid for CEUs or if you want to add this option to your existing registration, contact the Temple University Recreational Therapy Program at rtprogram@temple.edu for assistance. To earn CEUs you must watch each pre-recorded session in its entirety at 1x speed and earn a 75 or higher on each session’s CEU quiz.

How and when will I receive my CEU certificate?

We will send your CEU verification document in 4-6 weeks to the email address you provided during registration.

Are the virtual and in-person conference sessions pre-approved for CEUs by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)?

No. The sessions are not pre-approved by NCTRC. This is because the timeline for the NCTRC pre-approval process does not align with the submission of the conference materials.

I’m interested in learning more about RT at Temple University. Will information be available?

Yes! During the conference you can learn about our BS, accelerated BS to MS (4+1 program), and fully online MS degree program, as well as other resources available such as the RT Wise Owls database, the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion, and Temple University RT Student Association.
