Community Advisory Board

The purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to:

  • inform and facilitate the research process
  • ensure that the research is relevant to practitioners and families
  • help with translating the research into practice
During the bi-annual meetings, the Community Advisory Board provides guidance on all project aims. The Community Advisory Board consists of 12 members from various organizations in Philadelphia, including multidisciplinary administrators, supervisors, and direct service staff, non-offending caregivers, and adult survivors with prior involvement in the Philadelphia child protective services system.
