updates and news for Spring/Summer 2020

In the midst of a pandemic, the lab is still a busy place! Here are a few recent highlights:

  • Congratulations to Jeffrey Dennison for contributing to a recent Nature paper titled “Variability in the analysis of a single neuroimaging dataset by many teams”. A link to the paper is here.
  • Karen Shen presents a virtual poster at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society meeting. Her poster was titled “Actively testing hypothesis using acquired information during encoding enhances delayed memory” and will soon be submitted for publication.
  • New paper with Dr. Dominic Fareri and Dr. Mauricio Delgado published in Social Cognitive Affective Neuroscience. The paper is titled “The influence of relationship closeness on default-mode network connectivity during social interactions” and link to the full-text can be found here.
  • Lindsey Tepfer is heading off to Dartmouth to start her PhD with Dr. Mark Thornton. Congrats Lindsey!
  • Welcome new lab members, Jen Yang and Jimmy Wyngaarden! They will be starting their doctoral studies in the Department of Psychology. Both Jen and Jimmy are co-mentored by Dr. Johanna Jarcho.
  • Marc Cipriaso is starting an MD program at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Congrats Marc!
