Fox Event Policies

Room Reservations

  • SPO weekly meeting rooms are automatically booked by the College Council advisor (Sarah) and typically stay the same from semester to semester (unless there is a conflict with the class schedule, which you will be notified of), or if your SPO requests a different room.
  • Room size has been assigned to SPOs based on estimated member attendance reported via Suitable QR scans during meetings – make sure you are posting your events to Suitable and your members are scanning the QR codes during meetings!
  • Classrooms for additional events or joint meetings within the Fox event hours of operation can typically be booked as needed with at least 48 hours notice.

Fox Event Hours of Operation

  • Monday-Thursday – 8am-8pm
  • Friday – 8am-5pm
  • Saturday-Sunday – 8am-5pm with minimum 4 weeks’ advance notice

Larger event spaces (The Egg & 7th floor MBA Commons)

  • At this time, Fox Operations cannot accommodate large event spaces after hours.
  • SPOs may only hold events in the Commons spaces through an academic department within Fox – contact your SPO’s department or faculty advisor.
  • If chairs and/or tables are needed, the department must submit a facilities request for setup (for a fee – the department can request a quote first in TUmarketplace).
