Kaitlyn Campbell is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Developmental Psychology Program. She graduated from the University of Idaho in 2019 with a B.S. in psychology & a pre-health studies minor. She is interested in the intersection of attention, executive functioning, and social interaction using EEG methodology. Her dissertation is exploring at-home longitudinal fine motor development in infancy using kinematic analysis in relation to a neural measure of how the fingers are represented in the brain. Outside of research, Kaitlyn likes to make pottery, crochet amigurumi, and spend time with her pets.

Allison Langer is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Developmental Psychology Program. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a B.A. in the Biological Basis of Behavior and a minor in psychology. She is interested in the link between motor development and social development, particularly in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Outside of the lab, Allison loves to cook, attend dance classes, and run on local trails in Philly.

This could be you! We are recruiting a graduate student to join our EEG research line! For more information on applying look here.

Collaborators

Valentina Parma is a collaborator on our grasping in infancy study. She was a Research Assistant Professor at Temple University, however, she recently started working at the Monell Center for the Chemical Senses in Philadelphia. She received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in 2012 from the University of Padova, Italy. Her research focuses on understanding how unconscious stimuli, in particular odors, affect how humans control action and cognition both at the behavioral and the neural level.

Ab.Acus is a company based in Milan, Italy. They focus on research and development in digital systems, transparent technologies, localization devices, self-tracking systems, and simulation and modelization techniques. They collaborate with us on our current study on how infants learn to reach and grasp objects. They developed the TrHandy phone application we implement in that study, among other behind-the-scenes programs.
