We are excited to welcome Kim Reuter, a new graduate student, to our lab group starting Fall Semester 2011. Kim will be pursuing her doctorate here in the Biology Department at Temple University; her research focus will be conservation biology and the development of science-based conservation strategies. Kim completed her her undergraduate work at Florida State University, where she was recognized with several awards, including Florida Bright Futures, FSU Student Spotlight, Dean’s List, and Outstanding Senior in the Biological Sciences. She also has extensive lab and field experience in ecology and conservation, and has already published two articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

A position is open for a prospective doctoral student to study the ecology and conservation of rare and threatened butterflies and their prairie habitats. Applications are due by December 15, 2025, and the position will begin in summer or fall of 2026 (see Opportunities page for a full description)
