Dr. Yang Serves Guest Editor for Joint LLM Article Collection in Annals of Tourism Research and Information Processing & Management

Dr. Yang Yang has been appointed Guest Editor for a major joint Article Collection on “Large Language Models (LLMs) for Tourism and Tourists,” collaboratively organized by Annals of Tourism Research and Information Processing & Management.

This cross-journal initiative reflects the growing importance of generative AI and large language models in reshaping tourism research and practice. Articles accepted under this special collection will be published in one of the two journals, while the complete collection will be featured on both journals’ websites, substantially increasing visibility and scholarly impact.

Dr. Yang serves as Associate Editor of Annals of Tourism Research and joins Prof. Jim Jansen, Editor-in-Chief of Information Processing & Management, in leading this interdisciplinary effort. This joint Article Collection represents a significant milestone in integrating artificial intelligence research with tourism scholarship. Dr. Yang looks forward to receiving innovative contributions that advance ethical deployment, theoretical development, and practical applications of LLMs in tourism.
