Dr. Yang Yang participated as a keynote panelist at the NETtra 2025 Tourism Conference, held October 7–10 in Meredith, New Hampshire. The keynote panel, titled “From Global to Local: The Impacts of Geopolitics and Current Affairs on Travel and Tourism,” brought together leading scholars and industry research executives to examine how global uncertainty, geopolitics, and macroeconomic conditions are reshaping travel behavior and destination performance. Drawing on data-driven tourism research and policy analysis, Dr. Yang discussed how destinations and attractions can leverage advanced analytics to understand shifting demand patterns and develop proactive, resilient strategies in the face of ongoing global volatility.
