As part of a Field Initiated Project (FIP) funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), our research team expanded Chance to Ride, a travel training curriculum for transitional aged youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) orginally developed by the Kennedy Collective. The curriculum consists for 6 lessons and provides powerpoint slideshows for the trainer as well as the trainee.
Feel free to contact us at reachlab@temple.edu if you would like us to do a presentation on our materials to help you get started.
