Mingyue (Ming) is a first-year master’s student at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies Counseling Psychology. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2023 with a B.A. in Psychology. Ming’s research interests involve psychopathology of mood disorders and how environmental factors (e.g., stressors and trauma history) and affective dysregulation contribute to their development. Additionally, Ming is interested in exploring the transdiagnostic factors that influence the development and maintenance of mood disorders. After completing her master’s program, Ming hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, badminton, watching talk shows, and petting other peoples’ pets.
