Kashish Patel

Kashish Patel is a junior at Temple University majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. MADLAB is the first lab that she has been a part of and she hopes to use this experience to gain vital skills necessary to work with participants and ultimately conduct her own research. She is actively working towards gaining an internship at a hospital for the duration of her undergraduate. Her primary research interests lie in psychopathology and studying the relationship between genetics and the environment in the cause of certain personality disorders. She ultimately wants to tie this research into investigating possible cures for debilitating disorders. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Kashish hopes to further her education as a physician-scientist by attending medical school to be a neurologist and participating in research throughout her career to improve her discipline.
