It’s the Tenth Anniversary of Homegrown Stories!
Homegrown Stories began in 2013 as a dialogue project between two friends, LeAnn Erickson and Sandy Dyas. In short order, the project expanded to include video and sound artists from across the US and around the world.
2023 is the tenth anniversary of Homegrown Stories so to celebrate, we’ve invited back some of our favorite collaborators to create new work around the theme of TEN.
Watch for new work in April, August, and December. Thanks for celebrating with us!

The third and final serving of LEFTOVERS
During 2022 Homegrown Stories set in motion a collaboration conjured out of leftovers- those bit and pieces of video or sound that never found their way into a piece of art. The video projects for this third and last collaboration offer a contrapuntal accent to Adam Vidiksis’ sound composition “Rhythmic Metal”.
Invited Artist: Karla Barry

Ready for your second serving of Leftovers?
During 2022 Homegrown Stories video artists are using leftover bits and pieces to create collaborations with three sound artists. The video interpretations of our second sound piece by Pieta Brown reflect and illuminate Brown’s gently layered composition “SATELLITE”.
