murmuration: fall
Ebbing, flowing, spilling, falling.
murmurations (of time)
Howth, Ireland) I have been thinking about how time passes, how things fall apart, crumble, vanish and eventually are swept away. And about flight, where does the soul when it leaves its earthly life? “murmurations (of time)” takes its inspiration from its definition, a noun referring to the action of murmuring and also to a flock of starlings. My Mother’s, my Uncle’s and my Aunt’s passings, all within two years..all I have left are my memories and my photographs.
Weather(ing) Time
Weather determines how a farmer lives his life. It is a firm marker of time. Season to season, we can feel and see how time changes everything. Weather(ing) Timeis dedicated to my Dad and his love for this Iowa land.
Sylvia & LeRoy (two fish)
Tale of two goldfish living together for over ten years. Not long ago, Sylvia jumped ship and was found exceptionally still, on the floor near their aquarium. Since then they have reconciled and are swimming happily ever after. This video is dedicated to Jamie Elizabeth.

(Not one) Bridge
Invited artist: Sonali Gulati
When my partner and I got together nine years ago, we were not quite in the same place about wanting to have a child. This is a bridge that my partner and I built together last year and it rests on a stream in our backyard. This is also a bridge where our 4-year old son loves to run back and forth. This is not one bridge.
