How to Create and Edit Google Photos Albums

Create a new album

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. If you are not automatically logged in, click the blue “GO TO GOOGLE PHOTOS” button in the middle of the page.
3. Sign in to your Google Account.
4. On a photo, click Select 
5. Choose other photos that you want in your album.
6. At the top, click Add .
7. Select Album  New album.
8. Optional: Add a title to your new album. 
9. Click Done  located at the top of the page.

Create a live album

What is a live album?

live albums are a new and easy way to share more of your memories from Google Photos. You can turn any album into a live album. Just choose the people (and pets) you want to see, and Google Photos will automatically add photos of them to your album as you take them. Then, you can share your album with family and friends so they can be a part of special moments as they happen—no manual updates needed.

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Sign in to your Google Account.
3. On the left, click Albums   
4. Under “Albums”  select the in “Create album” .
5. Click Select people & pets.
6. On any face group, click Select .
7. At the top right, click Confirm. 
8. Optional: Name the Album.
9. Click Done   located at the top of the page.
