Congratulations to Molly Tassoni for defending her dissertation titled, “Examining Cognitive Correlates of Motivated Memory in Older Adults using Established and Naturalistic Paradigms”!  Molly will be completing her APA internship year at Emory Adult/Geriatric Neuropsychology.

Sophia defended her preliminary exam titled, “HRV Monitoring with Wearable Devices may facilitate Early Detection of Dementia” and dissertation proposal titled,  “Digital Phenotypes from a low-cost smartwatch  to inform early detection of ADRD”. She received a F31 predoctoral fellowship (2024-2026) to fund her dissertation.

Molly has been elevated to doctoral candidacy! She successfully defended her preliminary examination titled, ” Integrating Psychological and Neuroscientific Models of Motivation in Rehabilitation: Implications for Neurodegeneration and Dementia”

Stephanie started her clinical internship at the Charleston Consortium in Charleston, SC! Good luck, Steph!

Stephanie also successfully defended her dissertation titled, “Understanding Motivation to Engage in Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors for Dementia Risk Reduction in Midlife Using a Person-Centered Approach”!

Marina Kaplan (current research coordinator) won a travel award to the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology Conference in Scottsdale, AZ to present results from the Virtual Kitchen Intervention study. Kudos to Marina!

Julina Hossfeld (graduating senior) was accepted into a Translational Neuroscience Master’s program at Heinrich Heine University Dusseldorf! Congrats, Julina!
