Dr. Olson and the entire Cognitive Neuroscience lab is dedicated to creating a lab culture and research operations that welcome and celebrate diversity of all kinds. In collaboration with Dr. Lisa Briand, Dr. Olson runs the Mid-Atlantic Neuroscience Diversity Scholars (MiNDS) program at Temple University. This program aims to bolster the number of underrepresented minority (URM) students within the neuroscience academic pipeline and build a foundation for URM students to succeed in graduate school and beyond.
