Tips for the Application
• Answer all questions thoughtfully and thoroughly.
• Your recommender should be a professor or faculty member who can speak to your academic integrity and growth.
• No prior lab experience is required or expected.

Application Requirements
- Application questionnaire
- Unofficial academic transcript
- Faculty letter of reference
Eligibility
- Temple undergraduate entering final year (enrolled the spring before and fall after the summer program); students entering junior year MAY be considered
- Interest in research with no prior experience
- Ability to work full-time on campus at Temple University for the duration from May 18- Aug 7
- Member of an underrepresented population in the sciences
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident (NIH requirement)
Tips for the application
- Please answer all questions thoroughly, and take your time when filling out the questionnaire.
- Your faculty reference should come from someone who can attest to your academic integrity. Ideally, this would come from a professor who had you as a student.
- You do not need prior lab experience when applying to our program!
