Temple BRIDGE Program

Building Research Independence by Developing Goals & Hands-On Experiences

Our Program

BRIDGE is a full-time, paid summer research experience for Temple undergraduates who have not yet had the chance to work in a research lab. Scholars join a psychology and neuroscience laboratory that aligns with their future goals, receive faculty and near-peer mentorship, and participate in structured professional development seminars and retreats that emphasizes scientific inquiry, communication, and community.

Through this work, BRIDGE supports Temple’s mission by expanding access to hands-on learning, uplifting diverse perspectives, and preparing students for graduate study, research careers, and other post-graduation pathways where evidence and equity matter, serving as the bridge that connects emerging scholars to rich possibilities ahead.

Who Should Apply?

Temple students who have not had the opportunity for research experience before entering their last year of undergraduate training. This program is designed for under-resourced students. If this term feels appropriate to you, we encourage you to apply!
