Laura McDonnell, laura.mcdonnell@temple.edu
Laura McDonnell grew up in the city of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. After graduating from North Penn High School in 2020, she came to Temple University to pursue a B.S. in biochemistry. Other than biochemistry, her academic interests include computer science and mathematics.
Currently, Laura is a fourth-year undergraduate student. Following her studies at Temple, she plans to pursue a PhD in computational biology and build toward her career goal of becoming a bioinformatics scientist.
She joined the Borguet group in the spring of 2021 to research the adsorption behavior and catalytic properties of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
