Purpose

Assignment Instructions
Create a 60–90 second TikTok-style educational video explaining one nursing concept or clinical skill.
- Choose one topic, such as:
- Blood pressure measurement
- Patient safety and fall prevention
- Therapeutic communication
- Vital signs assessment
- Hand hygiene
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Medication administration rights
- Infection prevention
- Your video should:
- Use professional language.
- Avoid sharing any patient information (maintain HIPAA/privacy standards).
- Include captions or text for accessibility.
- Clearly explain the nursing concept.
- Demonstrate the correct procedure or process (if applicable).
- Explain why the skill is important for patient safety.
Students may submit the video privately through the learning management system instead of posting it publicly on TikTok.
