About Us
Welcome to the official page of the Temple Muslim Students Assocation!
The aim and purpose of the Temple MSA is to serve our Creator, Allah (SWT), by serving His Ummah. As such, MSA shall:
● Promote unity and joint action amongst Muslims
● Conduct social, cultural, spiritual, and academic activities under the
guidelines of proper Islamic etiquette and mannerisms, as well as through the example set forth by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
● Arrange and hold congregational prayers (both daily and Friday) and Islamic festivals at the appropriate times
● Promote friendly relations and dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims
● Endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to non-Muslims
● Strive to be exemplars in community service and charity work
To be considered a member:
Dues
- This year, member dues are $5 for the academic year.
- This helps us fund: speakers, food, merch, senior cords, prayer space upkeep, etc.
- Can be paid through venmo or cashapp (@templemsa, $templeumsa)
- You must attend 3 events in the semester.
- Future events will have a QR code to sign in for attendance
