This Spring, you can earn Honors credit with two incredible courses:Life & Work in Music City: Navigating the Entertainment Industry in Nashville, TN
This course will introduce students to the essential structures and business models of the music industry during the first part of the term. Then students will be immersed in the civic and industry cultures of Music City by spending Spring Break in Nashville, visiting cultural sites, industry organizations, and entertainment venues; and meeting with local industry professionals to discuss career paths, opportunities and competition in the region, the state of the industry, and more.
The Art of Visual Storytelling in Puerto Rico
From traditional precolonial art processes to contemporary workflows, Puerto Rican artists have long used a variety of artistic mediums to reflect on the identity of both self and community. Using various multimedia approaches, students in this course will will experience, investigate and create content that examines both Philadelphia and Puerto Rico’s vibrant art communities.
