| How do we see color? Why is color important for plants, animals, and evolution? Join us for a fun discussion exploring these questions using physics, neuroscience and biology. We will look at the electromagnetic spectrum and how molecules absorb and reflect specific wavelengths of light, how humans and other animals interpret reflected light and what molecules lead to color in plants, animals and the processes they’ve evolved around light. We hope to see you there! Date: Thursday, December 4th Time: 4-5pm Where: Honors Lounge (Tuttleman 204) All students are welcome to attend. We’ll have pizza!! |
