The Center for Asian Health at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is part of a nationwide study focused on Asian American health, and we’re looking for a creative, self-driven undergraduate student filmmaker to help bring our story to life.
We’re creating a 3–5 minute recruitment video to share with our communities. The video will introduce our research team, briefly explain what the study is about, and encourage participation—especially among Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Looking for a student who can:
Film on-site at Temple’s Health Sciences Campus (interviews, lab procedures like EKGs, height/weight measurement, and team meetings)
Edit a short video that’s warm, personal, and community-oriented
Bring their own equipment (camera, mic, editing software, etc.)
Work collaboratively with our team and creatively highlight meaningful moments
This is a paid opportunity. Rate and schedule are flexible—we’re happy to work with you to find something fair based on your time and experience.
Interested? Reach out to our team member, Elaine Liu (zhiqing.liu@temple.edu) with a few lines about yourself and (if possible) links to your past work or portfolio.
