WEDS. FEB 5TH: LUPERCALENTINE’S
Lupercalentines for your Loved Ones: Did you know that Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14th) may have been influenced by the Roman Lupercalia (Feb. 15th)? The Lupercalia was a fertility festival honoring the famed She-Wolf (Lupa) who nourished the twins Romulus and Remus at the dawn of Roman history. In the Department of Greek and Roman Classics, we have combined the holidays into one festival: Lupercalentine’s Day! Join us as we make paper lupine* notes of love for everyone who has blessed our lives.

*No actual wolfmeat will be used
