GREEK AND ROMAN ART CLUB and FIRST WEDNESDAY WAFFLES present: SATURNALIA SIGILLARIA

The faculty and students of Greek and Roman Classics warmly welcome you to join us to make new friends, relieve stress, make your own ancient flat cake (a waffle), and engage in experiential learning about the cultures, arts and religions of the ancient Mediterranean. 

We welcome ALL Temple Students, Staff, Faculty and their Friends! All projects are FREE.

SATURNALIA SIGILLARIA: Weds. Dec. 4 (today!) from 12-2pm in 318 Mazur 

Get ready for the Saturnals (Dec. 17th) by making gifts inspired by the Roman practice of exchanging candles and clay figurines at Saturnalia. We will dress dolls procured from an exclusive emporium* as Greek and Roman god/desses, as well as make paper suns to welcome the returning power of the Sun.*Dollar Tree, City Ave. Write Dr. K.
